FIM ASIA successfully held their 2012 General Assembly at the M Hotel in Singapore on January 16, 2012. The 2012 General Assembly was well attended with 19 FMNs officially represented. Present at the meeting were the representatives from the national motorcycle federations of Bahrain, China, Chinese-Taipei, Guam, Hongkong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.

The 2012 FIM Asia General Assembly takes place in Singapore on Monday, January 16, 2012. The event is the yearly gathering of the representatives of the national motorcycle federations (FMNs) comprising FIM Asia, the Asian body of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) to discuss current concerns and directions of the Continental Union.

Twenty delegates from FIM Asia, the Asian continental union, attended the FIM Awards Gala Ceremony held during the 2011 FIM General Assembly in Estoril, Portugal on December 3, 2011. The awards gala feted the winners in the different FIM World Championship events in 2011.

The 2011 PETRONAS Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) came to an epic end with senior, Katsuaki Fujiwara and rookie, Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah scoring a chequered flag each at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar today. Although safely crowned 2011 SuperSports 600cc Overall Champion, Fujiwara of Manual Tech BEET Kawasaki Racing did not hold back as he went all out to secure his eight consecutive victory for the season in Race 1. However, it was far from an easy outing for the 36-year old.

The 2011 FIM Asia Tour (Thailand to Laos) that took off this morning at Chiang Mai Thailand is an "arrive and ride" event for a worthy cause. The participants will travel across different provinces in Transmotosport Motorcycling under the auspices of the FMSCT.
